1. Introduction

Welcome to Hanuman Ji (“App”, “Hanuman Ji”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

Hanuman Ji is a devotional and cultural application dedicated to Lord Hanuman, including Hanuman Chalisa, Aarti, Mantras, Bhajans, stories, Jap Mala, meditation, temple information, festival information, wallpapers and related content.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your information.

2. Information You Provide

The App is designed to provide most devotional features without requiring an account.

If account-based features are introduced in the future, we may collect information such as name, email address, profile information, account credentials and preferences. Any such collection will be disclosed appropriately within the App and this Privacy Policy will be updated when necessary.

6. Local Storage

Some App features may store information locally on your device, including favorites, bookmarks, reading history, audio history, Jap Mala counts, preferences, theme and language settings, notification settings and downloaded devotional content.

Where information is stored locally, it generally remains on your device unless you explicitly use a feature that transfers or synchronizes it.

7. Notifications

The App may request permission to send notifications for daily Hanuman Mantras, Tuesday reminders, Hanuman Jayanti reminders, Aarti reminders, festival notifications and other devotional reminders.

You can disable notifications through App or device settings.

8. Audio Playback

The App may provide Hanuman Aarti, Chalisa, Bhajans, Mantras, temple bells, meditation sounds and background devotional music.

Audio may continue playing in the background when the relevant feature supports background playback. The App does not require access to personal audio recordings merely to play devotional audio.

9. Microphone

The App does not need microphone access for normal devotional functionality. If a future feature requires microphone access, the appropriate permission will be requested and the reason will be explained before access.

10. Location Information

Optional features such as temple information, maps or location-based functionality may require location access.

We do not use background location unless a future feature specifically requires it and complies with applicable requirements.

11. Photos, Media and Storage

The App may allow users to download or save devotional wallpapers, images or other content. We aim to use privacy-preserving system mechanisms where possible.

We do not request broad device storage access unless genuinely required for an essential user-facing feature.

12. Sharing Content

The App may provide sharing functionality. When you choose to share devotional images, quotes, articles or other content, information is transferred using the sharing mechanism selected by you. We do not control how a third-party application handles information after you choose to share it.

Locally stored information may remain on your device until you delete it within the App, clear the App's storage, uninstall the App, or the operating system removes the relevant data.

If the App does not provide an account system, most locally stored preferences and data can be removed by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling the App.

If account creation or server-side account storage is introduced in the future, we will provide an appropriate account/data deletion mechanism as required by applicable policies.

Hanuman Ji is a general-audience devotional application and is not specifically designed as a child-directed service.

Any interactive Digital Pooja or worship experience is a digital devotional representation and does not claim to replace traditional physical worship.

We respect intellectual property rights. Devotional texts, images, music, audio recordings, videos, artwork, logos and other materials may be owned by their respective copyright holders.

We aim to use original content, public-domain material, appropriately licensed material, permission-based material and user-generated or third-party content where applicable.

The presence of a religious or traditional subject does not necessarily mean that a particular recording, image, translation, artwork, arrangement or performance is public domain.
